In certain locations, the Host Services you intend to provide may be entirely prohibited. Some jurisdictions require Hosts to register Guests who reside in their Accommodation. Moreover, certain jurisdictions have legislation establishing tenancy rights for Guests and additional obligations for Hosts. For instance, some areas have regulations governing landlord-tenant relationships, rent control, and eviction procedures that may be applicable to extended stays. It is advisable to consult local regulations to ascertain which rules pertain to the Host Services you wish to provide. Please note that any information we furnish regarding legal requirements is purely for informational purposes, and you should independently verify your obligations. You are responsible for handling and managing the personal data of Guests and other individuals in accordance with relevant privacy laws and these Terms, including our Host Privacy Standards. 6. Verification Process
At Accommodate Premium Services Ltd, our primary goal is to foster trust and confidence among our users, both hosts and guests alike.
While we understand that no identification process can be entirely infallible, we are committed to taking proactive measures to provide assurance to everyone using our platform. To achieve this, we have implemented robust procedures for verifying the identities of our users.
We kindly request hosts, new co-hosts, and guests who make bookings requests through our platform to undergo a verification process. This process may involve confirming key personal details, including but not limited to your full name, address, selfies, ID submission, phone number, and other relevant contact information, when you make a reservation or sign up as a host.
If we are unable to verify your identity using the information you’ve provided, we may request additional documentation, such as a photo of your official identification and a selfie.
By agreeing to use our platform, you consent to undergo our verification process, which may include providing official identification documents such as ID cards or passports, as well as submitting selfies and references when required. This process helps us confirm your identity and ensure the integrity of our community. Your information will only be used for verification purposes and will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality.
By participating in our verification process, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for the accuracy and authenticity of the information you provide. Additionally, you agree not to hold Accommodate Premium Services Ltd liable for any misuse or unauthorized access to your data resulting from inaccurate information or account security breaches.
Please note that completion of the verification process is mandatory for full access to our platform’s features. Failure to comply may result in limitations on your ability to book accommodations or list properties.
Why do we verify your identity? Verifying the identity of hosts and guests serves several purposes:
- Reduce fraudulent activities.
- Perform background checks, where permitted by law.
- Comply with relevant legislation, including tax and payment regulations.
- Address and respond to security concerns such as assaults or thefts.
How does the verification process work? As part of the identity verification process, we may ask you to provide the following:
- Your full name, address, phone number, email, a selfie, ID or passport (photo of your official identification), past references and others. Sometimes, this information is sufficient for verifying your identity. However, please note that in certain regions, verification methods using the personal information provided by you may not be available or effective.
Here’s how the verification process works:
- Official identification photograph: You may be asked to provide a picture of your driver’s license, passport, or identity card. Make sure you’re familiar with the types of official IDs we accept and the image requirements.
- Selfie: We might request a photo of you holding your official identification document. If you’re unable to provide a selfie that matches your official ID, please contact us for alternative verification options.
- Note: If you’re offering hosting services as a company, additional verification of your account and all associated with your business may be necessary. More information is available.
- If you’re earning income from renting accommodation, providing experiences, or acting as a co-host and you reside in an EU member state, or if the income is derived from advertising a property in the EU, additional data verification will be required in your account. Further details can be found.
How long does it take to verify your identity?
Please be aware that identity verification may take some time once you’ve submitted your information. It’s essential to ensure that the information you provide is valid, accurate, and up-to-date to avoid any delays in the process.

When do we verify your identity?

We may request hosts and guests to periodically authenticate their identity for legal reasons. In such instances, they may not be able to receive new reservations until completing this step.
